Objetivo General

General mission

Formar profesionales con actitud y capacidad para desarrollar, investigar y aplicar conocimientos científicos y tecnológicos en áreas de la ingeniería mecánica, como: energía, fluidos, diseño, manufactura, automatización, control, materiales, montaje y mantenimiento de equipo, entre otras; apto para asignar, utilizar y administrar los recursos humanos y materiales en forma segura, racional, eficiente y sustentable; con disposición creativa y emprendedora; con fundamentos éticos y comprometido, en todo momento, con el bienestar de la sociedad.

To train professionals with attitude and the ability to develop, investigate and apply scientific and technological knowledge in areas of mechanical engineering, such as: energy, fluids, design, manufacturing, automation, control, materials, assembly and maintenance of equipment, among others; suitable to allocate, use, and manage the human and material resources in a safe, rational, efficient, and sustainable; with available creative and entrepreneurial; ethical foundation and are committed, at all times, with the well-being of the society.

Mission

Formar profesionistas, responsables y con una actitud creativa, que les permita, diseñar, mejorar e innovar sistemas mecánicos, para satisfacer las necesidades sociales, optimizando los recursos y preservando el entorno ecológico para elevar el nivel de la calidad de vida de la sociedad.

To train professionals, responsible and with a creative attitude that enables them to design, improve and innovate the mechanical systems, to meet the social needs, optimizing resources and preserving the ecological environment to raise the level of the quality of life of the society.

Los desempeños de los egresados (Atributos de egreso, CACEI. Student Outcomes, ABET), describen lo que se espera que los estudiantes sepan y sean capaces de hacer a partir de su graduación. Éstos se relacionan con las habilidades, conocimiento y comportamientos que los estudiantes adquieren en su progreso en el programa de Ingeniería Mecánica.

The performances of the gone away ones (Attributes of graduation, CACEI. Student Outcomes, ABET), describe what is hoped that the students should can and are capable of doing from his graduation. These are related to the skills, knowledge and behaviors that the students acquire in his progress in the program of Mechanical Engineering.

Perfil del Egresado

Profile of Graduates

Formula, evalúa y administra proyectos de diseño, manufactura, instalación y mantenimiento en sistemas mecánicos.

 

Selecciona los materiales adecuados para el diseño y la fabricación de elementos mecánicos, o para su uso en instalaciones industriales, con base en el conocimiento de sus propiedades.

 

Observa las normas y especificaciones nacionales e internacionales para preservar el medio ambiente relacionado con el tratamiento adecuado de los productos residuales, generados en los sistemas mecánicos.

 

Participa en proyectos tecnológicos y de investigación con el objetivo de conservar y/o restituir el medio ambiente que propicien un desarrollo sustentable.

It formulates, evaluates and administers projects of design, manufactures, installation and maintenance in mechanical systems.

 

It selects the materials adapted for the design and the manufacture of mechanical elements, or for his use in industrial facilities, with base in the knowledge of his properties.

 

It observes the national and international norms and specifications to preserve the environment related to the suitable treatment of residual products, generated in the mechanical system.

 

It participates in technological projects and in investigation with the aim of conserving and/or restituting the environment that causes a sustainable development.

 

 

Campo laboral del egresado

Employment areas

El egresado del programa de Ingeniería Mecánica del Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes participa activa y propositivamente en toda organización que requiera de la planeación y ejecución de programas de mantenimiento, desempeñar actividades de diseño de sistemas mecánicos, administración y ejecución de actividades de manufactura, posee características que le facilitan interactuar en grupos multidisciplinarios, sabe utilizar herramientas de computo así como la tecnología de la información y la comunicación. Es consciente de los requerimientos sociales, la sustentabilidad y el cuidado del medio ambiente. Así como el uso de normas o estándares y de la relevancia de mantenerse actualizado en los avances tanto científicos como tecnológicos y sociales.

 

Con base en lo anterior, el egresado de Ingeniería Mecánica puede colaborar en: El sector industrial privado; En empresas integradoras; En el sector de servicios, incluyendo las instituciones oficiales; En el ámbito de la docencia en Instituciones de educación; Así como en centros de investigación y/o desarrollo tecnológico.

He is conscious of the social requirements, the viability and the care of the environment. As well as the use of norms or standards and the relevance to stay as much updated in the advances scientists as technological and social.

 

With base in the previous thing, the withdrawn one of Mechanical Engineering can collaborate in: The private industrial sector; In integrating companies; In the sector of services, including the official institutions; In the scope of teaching in Institutions of education; As well as in technological development and/or research centers.
